At After Midnight Jewelers, we believe in giving back to our community and a cause that is really close to our hearts, which is why we are proud to say we are partners with The Humane Society of Chittenden County.
Every month we sponsor two pets by covering their food, care, treatment, and housing needs!
The mission of the HSCC is to foster compassionate treatment of animals and prevent animal suffering; to strengthen the human-animal bond; and to further the cause of responsible animal ownership through education and public awareness.
In addition to corporate sponsorships, the HSCC raises money through their annual Purrrses for Paws event. This evening consists of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and an exciting live and silent auction of new and like-new purses, in addition to many on sale!
Every year we donate a beautiful ring to be raffled off live at the event. To date, we’ve raised over $20,000 for the HSCC through the ring raffle!
The HSCC also provides for the health and well-being of companion animals that are in need and find each a loving home, reduces the number of unwanted animals through spay/neuter programs, offers affordable health and wellness services and resources to pet owners in need, promotes the animal-human bond through outreach, humane education and therapeutic programming, and advocates on behalf of animals in crisis and as an enforcer of their rights and protection through education, investigation and legislative efforts.
